Students Seeking Licensure in Other States
The institution has opted not to confirm whether its programs meet requirements in States other than NC because it enrolls either no students or a small percentage of students located in those states. Students seeking licensure in other states after graduation or license reciprocity once gaining an NC license should contact the applicable state agency or licensing board of the other state. Located Determination
For students enrolled in a program utilizing distance education, a determination is made on where a student or prospective student is located when Alexander Paul Institute receives and saves the Admissions Application where the student lists their current address and when the current address is updated on the contact information update form used in orientation. If the student subsequently updates their current address with the school, the determination of where a student is located is made when this information is saved to the institution's files.
Student Complaints
Students who have complaints or grievances of an official nature that cannot be resolved informally in their regular contact with school officials should submit a complaint using Alexander Paul Institute's Official Grievance Procedure found in the institution's Course Catalog. Alexander Paul Institute of Hair Design's accreditor monitors whether the institution is meeting the accreditation standards set by NACCAS. NACCAS has a complaint procedure intended as a tool for NACCAS to monitor whether accredited schools are complying with those standards. The complaint process is not intended to provide individual relief to the complainant, and NACCAS does not intervene on behalf of individuals in cases of disciplinary actions, dismissals, or act as a court of appeals in such matters as admission, graduation, fees, or similar issues. Transfer of Credit Policies
Alexander Paul Institute of Hair Design does not accepted transfer credit from other institutions, and the Transfer Policy can be viewed in the Course Catalog.
The school does not maintain written criteria to award credit from other institutions or life experience as such credit is not awarded. Upon reviewing transcripts from other institution's as a part of Certification for VA Benefits, the school makes a determination that there is no awarded credit from previous educational experience. Alexander Paul Institute of Hair Design does not maintain articulation agreements with any other institution or entity.
Written Arrangements for Education
Alexander Paul Institute does not have any written arrangements for other entities to offer education, and Alexander Paul Institute of Hair Design delivers 100% of its programs education to students directly.
Teach-Out Plan
Alexander Paul Institute's accreditor NACCAS requires the institution to maintain a Teach-Out Plan, and the institution has adopted a plan. The purpose of this is to provide a plan for students to continue their education in the event of a school closure.
