Cash rounding policy:

We are experiencing a shortage of pennies due to the stoppage of minting. On Nov. 12, 2025, the U.S. Mint produced the last circulating pennies, and no more will be produced. To keep services running smoothly and minimize delays when customers are making cash payments, we have implemented symmetric rounding. 
 
Customers who do not want their change rounded have these other easy options: credit/debit card or paying cash with exact change.  
 
When rounding is necessary, cash payments will follow these guidelines:  
$0.01 and $0.02 → rounded down to $0.00 
$0.03 and $0.04 → rounded up to $0.05 
$0.06 and $0.07 → rounded down to $0.05 
$0.08 and $0.09 → rounded up to $0.10

This rounding transaction does not impact the sales and use tax due on the transaction. Tax is still calculated from the unrounded total.
